In September, AECOW presented to the Climate Change, Energy and Resources sub-committee of HoPS, an assessment of planning conditions with reference to ECoWs, and how the wording of planning conditions inhibit effective delivery of the role.
This led to AECoW being invited to participate in a working group led by the Energy Consents Unit with an aim to develop guidelines for consenting authorities for ECoW conditions.
